Three period black-and-white postcards documenting the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games and Reichssportfeld, including a striking aerial view of the Olympic Stadium complex and two group photographs taken on the stadium grounds. One card is captioned "Reichssportfeld, Berlin – Olympia-Stadion." A standout feature is the original Deutsches Reich 6+4 Pf. “Olympische Spiele 1936” football postage stamp, bearing a Berlin Olympia-Stadion cancellation dated 1.8.36, the opening day of the Berlin Olympic Games. An appealing group combining Olympic stadium imagery, period visitor photographs, and desirable opening-day postal history. Dimensions: Each measures 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. Condition: Light age-related wear and toning.
