This contemporary American landscape is an oil on stretched canvas depicting the red covered bridge at Poole Forge, Pennsylvania. The winter scene captures a vibrant sunset reflected in the icy water, executed with expressive brushwork andimpasto highlights. A stylized signature in black is located in the lower right corner. The verso bears a Marquis Art and Frame label and a handwritten date of December 2022. 22 1/2 x 28 1/2 inches.The painting is in excellent contemporary condition. The canvas is taut with a stable paint layer showing no signs of loss, craquelure, or surface dirt. The frame and linen liner are well-preserved with no visible defects or wear.
