A pair of Tunisian earthenware vases featuring a 215 inch handle basis and hand-painted Nabeul decoration. These amphora-form vessels display polychrome tin-glaze motifs, including stylized architectural structures and the Star of David. The body is marked with painted Arabic script reading Nabeul. One base features an incised oval mark that is not clearly legible as a name. The vases exhibit significant chipping at the base rims and smaller nicks on the top rims and handles. Fine age-related crazing is visible throughout the glazed surfaces. There are no large structural cracks.
