Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973) Original lithograph from the deluxe edition of Picasso Dessins by Waldemar George. Published by Editions des Quatre Chemins, Paris. Pencil signed lower right. Depicting Study Sheet With Figures in Picasso's elegant neoclassical style. Issued on Arches paper in a limited edition of 100 copies accompanying the deluxe publication. Numbered on verso 52/100. A compelling example of Picasso's creative process, this lithograph juxtaposes rapid classical figure studies with abstract modern forms, highlighting the artist's continual dialogue between tradition and innovation. A desirable plate from the scarce deluxe Picasso Dessins portfolio. Does not include the original book and limitation page, these 3 pieces are for reference only.
