Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973) Original lithograph from the deluxe edition of Picasso Dessins by Waldemar George. Published by Editions des Quatre Chemins, Paris. Pencil signed lower right. Depicting Cubist Profiles in Picasso's elegant neoclassical style. Issued on Arches paper in a limited edition of 100 copies accompanying the deluxe publication. Numbered on verso 53/100. A bold and highly graphic composition from the scarce deluxe Picasso Dessins portfolio, this lithograph exemplifies Picasso's mastery of Cubist form through overlapping profiles, expressive linework and dramatic contrasts of light and shadow. A desirable original print for collectors of Picasso's graphic works. Does not include the original book and limitation page, these 3 pieces are for reference only. Overall good condition with light toning and minor age-related wear. Measures 8.25" x 10.25".
