Medium olive green eight sided umbrella ink with pronounced shoulder. Unembossed. Open pontiled base. Inwardly rolled lip. Circa 1850s. Probably blown at a Baltimore area glasshouse. This particular smaller size mold of umbrella ink with the pronounced sharp shoulder before the neck is commonly found in the Baltimore area and can be collected in a range of colors associated with Baltimore production. Condition is attic found with some minor patchy interior haze, and there is an additional piece of glass adhered to the lip from manufacture, but no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 2 1/4 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches tall.
