Tan clothbound 1940 Jahrbuch des deutschen Heeres, published by Breitkopf & Haertel in Leipzig. The front cover and spine feature red embossed Gothic text and eagle emblem. The annual documents German Army campaigns of 1939-1940, illustrated with extensive black-and-white photography and campaign maps. The volume includes a forward by Generaloberst von Brauchitsch. The interior presents photographic plates, organization charts, and period documentation in German. Measures approximately 9.5 x 7 inches.
