ca. Dated 1875; Attributed to Lancaster Co. Amish artist Fronica "Frene" Lapp, related to and possibly trained by Amish artist Barbara Ebersol. The bookplate is ink and watercolor done on old bond-type paper, done for Christian Lapp, written on 16th day of April, 1875 in a three-flower design with reddish-brown and yellow spiral textbox, in a mid-late 20th century frame; 5 1/2" x 9 1/2"; Condition: Minor soiling and foxing; dark spot along right edge.
