ca. Mid 19th century; New England redware covered canister, dark manganese sponging on reddish brown lead glaze, everted rim, tapered tooled shoulder, interior lid ledge. Disk lid with fat mushroom shape knob. Lid fits but may be a marriage; 8 3/4" high (total), 6" diam.; Condition: Some glaze loss on canister, heavy glaze losses on lid knob.
