ca. 1840-1850; (A) Small jug, reddish brown lead glaze, everted rim, strap handle, pair of impressed collar rings, everted foot, New England origin, perhaps Massachusetts, 4 1/2" high, 3 3/8" diam, Condition: handle broken and glued together, 1/8" rim chip. (B) Dark manganese lead glazed jug, everted rolled rim, strap ribbed handle, impressed shoulder and hip rings, tooled foot flange, attributed to southeastern PA region, impressed "12" on base, 8 3/8" high, 6 3/4" diam, Condition: Contact marks on handle, 1/2" and smaller foot chips.
