ca. Dated 1829, December 27th; Done for/by Mary Lesher, unique cherub armies and tombstone motif Fraktur bookplate with three ink drawn cherub angels with "fly-type" wings resting atop a tombstone arch textbox. The crest of the tombstone reads, "Hark the Cherub Armies Shout and glory leads the song" with a central tulip with trailing floral vines from a small urn. The artist is unknown and unattributed. The bookplate is done on old rag paper, in a simple flat pine wood frame; Frame 12 5/8" x 14 3/4"; Condition: Extensive folds with some minor separation. One spot of infill applied to backer board. Not removed during cataloging, unknown if mounted to cardstock.
