ca. 1870; Salt glazed cylindrical stoneware jug, slipped cobalt double flowering stem motif, impressed "White's Utica" (Nicholas H. White, Utica, NY) with a rounded rim, Albany slip glaze interior, 14?" h, 9" diam.; Condition: Traces of brown surface residue, perhaps removable by gentle cleaning; 1½" ugly kiln contact mark on design and other contact marks; ½" and smaller foot flakes; ?" stone pop under handle and some discoloration.
