ca. 1845; Two gallon salt glazed semi ovoid stoneware crock, impressed "2", brushed cobalt shoulder band of double feathered foliage and daubs on applied pair of molded crescent lug terminals, slightly everted rim, tooled collar ring and impressed shoulder ring, tooled foot flange, Albany slip glaze interior, attributed to Henry Remmey, Jr., Philadelphia, PA; 11 1/8" high, 9 3/8" diam.; Condition: 7 1/2" and 5 3/4" rim lines, 1/2" and smaller rim flakes, 1 5/8" foot chip, 4 3/4" line down foot and across base.
