ca. 1870; Salt glazed cylindrical stoneware jug with brushed cobalt feathered foliage design and daubs on handle terminals, impressed "Cowden & Wilcox/Harrisburg, PA", flattened rounded rim and Albany slip glaze interior, 10 7/8" high, 7" diam.; Condition: 1/2" rim glaze flake, some cobalt fry.
