ca. 1830's; Carver known as "The Bold Abstractionist Carver" print in a tulip and leaf design. The print blank is a lathe turned single-piece with a turned "Lincon Hat" handle with three-point lathe chuck marks. The print face has center-line layout with balanced pattern of single tulip on variegate carved stem with two large leaves with V-chisel sawtooth accents and angular chip carved border. There is believed to be about 16 identified as being by this carver.; 3 5/8" - 3 7/8" dia. X 1 3/4"; Condition: An unusual branded small "21" place on reverse of print. Face worn smooth from use
