ca. early 19th century; Early center-seam constructed, three-color (non-bleached wool, indigo-blue and dark red) wool yarn and cotton warp woven coverlet. The double-weave coverlet has geometric double nine block design with dominant red and blue off-setting colors and white-tone gridwork. The warp appears to have wool yarn and cotton string, head end stitch bound and sides and foot end fringed; 96" x 80"; Condition: minor fading; small hole at head-binding; overall good condition
