ca: circa 1900; Attributed to northwestern Lancaster Co., this stunning mariner's compass and four eagle design appliqued quilt has a vibrant cheddar ground. The American eagles with cherry stems are set flying from the four corners. Each eagle is crafted with a white shielded breast, dark red body and green wings with the center medallion having a white centered red 8-pointed star with green 15-point star applique. The quilt has an interior green and red sawtooth band and 7" cheddar border, lightweight with a pink calico printed cotton back and hand-stitched quilting; 80" x 80"; Condition: Appears unused and in excellent condition
