ca. Early 20th century; Attributed to Northeastern Woodlands tribe (possible Mohegan) basket appears to be pounced willow splint in broad and narrow crossweave construction. The basket is square form with two small loop handles on double splint rim, blue painted accent bands and sponge (or potato) print daisy and dots design; 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 7 1/2"; Condition: Good wear and excellent patina. Minimal cracking to one wide splint
