ca. Printed 1811-1812; A rare find, Samuel Bauman and Jacob Ruth printed together for one year in Ephrata, PA. This is a rare opportunity to buy two of these uncommon published certificates for the same "Stauffer Family" of Montgomery Co, PA. Each certificate has a heart shaped printed textbox with bird, flowers and leaping stags printed border, infilled in ink by unknown scrivener with watercolor enhancement to printed elements. The records are for "Salome" (b.May 15th, 1802) and "Amos" (March 26th, 1810) children of Johannes & Elizabeth (Jorgerin/Yeager) Stauffer of Providence Twp., Montgomery Co. PA. Each is framed in matched late era paint decorated frame; each 19" x 16 1/4"; Condition: Each record appears to have been rolled prior to frame. The record for Salome Stauffer has extensive wear across the bottom. No major paper loss.
