ca. 1830-1870; Both softwood puck-type handless chip carved butter prints: 1. Possible Hoch family large size print with abstract floral design with variegate carved crescents and leaflets, the print face has houndstooth or sawtooth border and center line set stem with mirrored designs, 4 3/8" dia. x 3/4", Condition: print face lightly sanded to accent pattern. 2. Attributed to PA, compass star or radial design with fine diamond and floral accents between star's points. The print face has chip-carved pie crimp design, sawn & whittle rounded, 4 1/2" dia. X 1 1/8", Condition: Good, as found
