ca. late 20th century; Unsigned Noah's ark with figures by Gina and George Hosfeld, Souderton, Pa. The sugar pine crafted ark has traditional gable roof house on barge base and hinged lid roof for stowing of figures. The ark is brightly painted robin's egg blue with painted gothic arch windows and roof sponge painted with red on a yellow ground. The set includes over 20 pairs of various animals, all whittled and nicely painted with fine details; Ark - 11 1/2"L x 4" x 5 3/4"H. Figures - varying in height & length; Condition: Very good. Most figures are in excellent condition. Included with set is original bill of sale and information on the makers.
