ca. 18th or 19th century; Attributed to English or Welsh origin, each has whittled tapered-top grip, flattened "pad" bottom and carved print face. Possibly designed as pastry print or wax sealer: 1. Carved with "F.E." , sprigs, star, and heart design, 1 1/2" dia. X 4", Condition: tip of handle altered and crack extends 2 1/4" from foot. 2. Carved with "M & Christmas tree" design in incised border, reverse end of handle with cross-hatch star design, 1 3/8" x 1 1/4", Condition: good, no damage.
