ca. 1906-1920; Countertop mahogany and glass display case with applied labels of Shumate Razor Co. The display has a two-lens front, single hinged rear door with clear glass and either side has clear glass panels. The cabinet has three clear glass shelves with labels on one glass and along base rail. Retains brass maker's tag of "H. Pauk & Son Mfg. Co., St. Louis, MO."; 26" x 11 1/2" x 30 1/4"; Condition: The cabinet was a display for the Shumate Razor & Strop Co. which was popular with barbers. The compamy originated as a General Store in Austin, Texas. In 1900 it transitioned into making straight razors, and by 1904 it relocated to St. Louis. The company cesed operation in 1932. Cabinet is in very good condition.
