ca. late 19th-early 20th century; Unsigned, French bronze and ormolu tri-footed candlestick with reclining dog figures. The Roccoco Revival period candle stick has fine guilded "S and scroll" feet on tricorn base with mounted fluted column stem, ornate painted floral design mount. The dog sculptures are threaded bolt mounted to base and have brownish finish. Each hound's tail is wrapped around the stem of the candlestick. The stick has a scalloped edge wax catcher and fluted base candle socket.; 7" dia. X 8 1/4"H.; Condition: Good, no damage noted.
