ca. 2000-12-27; Signed, "Breininger Pottery" reproduction redware round charger, slab form molded with yellow slip ground, incised heart and birds motif with tulips design. The charger has incised German statement around border with flowing green glazed accents. The script verse translates to, "The vessel is made of earth and clay, and man is made of the same."; 12 3/4" dia. X 1 7/8"; Condition: Good, no noted damage.
