ca. 1974 & 1992; 1974, signed "L.B.", Lester Breininger, wheel thrown ball-handled redware butter mold with "Vigilant Cow" pattern design. The entire butter print has a flowing green and mottled manganese glaze finish, 3 3/4" dia. X 2 5/8"H. 1992, signed "Breininger Pottery" sgraffito decorated redware compote/bird bath, two-part wheel thrown with fine tier-molded footed base and pie dish top. The dish is yellow slip covered and incise decorated with blooming heart and birds design, the rim incised with a flowing line border and flowing green glaze accent., 5 3/4" dia. X 3 3/4"h.; Condition: Good - no noted damage.
