A very well carved one-piece pine smiling face with African features, surrounded by a carved mane, believed to have originally been from a circus/carnival, c1920, NS, patinated gilding showing copper verdigris in places, small chip on top edge, very difficult to read writing on back. 11"W x 8"H x 2.5"D.
