A treen barrel or dry measure, the sides and handles hewn from a single log, the bottom inlet into a groove, retains its untouched very dry surface, the handles are drilled to accept a rope or handle for hauling or possibly lifting out of the well, age split on one side, worn holes, great surface and perfect wear, 19th C, found in Peterborough, Ontario. 12.5"W x 10"H x 15"D.
