An American primitive style miniature hardwood chest of drawers featuring post-and-panel side construction and three drawers with simple nailed joinery. The piece stands on short, tapered turned feet and retains its three original turnedwooden pull knobs. A stamped mark on the lower right-side stile includes the characters TRUST followed by illegible lettering. The back panel consists of two vertical boards finished in brown paint. Height: 15.5 inches Width: 12 inchesDepth: 7.75 inches.Significant surface wear and finish loss throughout, notably on rails and the top edge. A vertical split is present in the front-left stile. The back panel shows a gap from shrinkage and small white paint marks. Numerous small nicks and scratches.
