Lot of (4) Mixed Date Eisenhower Dollars featuring the iconic “Ike” Dollar, issued by the U.S. Mint from 1971 through 1978. Designed by Chief Engraver Frank Gasparro, the obverse honors President Dwight D. Eisenhower, while the reverse depicts the Apollo 11 insignia, commemorating America’s historic achievement of landing on the Moon. This mixed-date group offers collectors an opportunity to add multiple examples from the Eisenhower Dollar series to their collection. Most circulation-strike Eisenhower Dollars are copper-nickel clad, while select San Francisco issues from 1971–1976 were struck in 40% silver for collectors. Because dates and mint marks can vary, collectors may wish to examine each coin for varieties and silver issues.
