This handcrafted American-made Counterpoint SA-2000 is a dual-channel line-level control amplifier featuring a hybrid vacuum tube circuit. The black brushed aluminum faceplate is clearly marked COUNTERPOINT ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, INC. andincludes silver-toned controls for source selection and gain. A rear silver-toned label indicates the unit was Handcrafted in California and carries the model number SA-2000 and serial number 22K94.This unit appears in lovely condition, showing only light surface scuffing to the faceplate near the knobs (photos 3 and 6). The gold-plated rear input jacks show some minor age-related oxidation (photo 11) but appear solid and functional.
