This vintage Dual CS 530 is a full-automatic, belt-drive turntable manufactured in Germany by Dual GmbH. The unit features a metallic-finish plastic base and a clear plastic dust cover attached by hinges. It is equipped with an Ultra LowMass (ULM) tonearm and a platter with a ribbed rubber mat. The front control panel includes push buttons for stop, start, speed selection at 33 and 45 RPM, and tonearm cueing. A horizontal slider for pitch control is situated next to arectangular display window. Transcriptions on the front include the Dual square logo, CS 530, Belt Drive, and full-automatic. The top surface is marked with the ULM logo, Full-Automatic, and Dual Made in Germany. The rear of the basefeatures a manufacturer plate indicating the model name, power specifications of 115 V, 50-60 Hz, 1.7 VA, and country of origin. Several safety and certification labels are present, including a CSA sticker and a yellow inventory label withThe turntable base shows light surface scuffing and dust accumulation. The clear plastic dust cover exhibits significant fine scratching and scuffs throughout. The metallic finish on the front operation buttons shows visible pitting and oxidation.
