This Yamaha A-700 Natural Sound Stereo Integrated Amplifier was manufactured by Nippon Gakki Co., Ltd. in Japan, with a quality control sticker indicating a 1984 manufacturing date. The unit features Auto Class A operation and a built-inphono preamplifier with a switchable Moving Magnet (MM) or Moving Coil (MC) input stage. The front panel includes controls for power, speaker selection (A, B), bass, treble, loudness, balance, subsonic filter, stereo/mono mode, and muting.Source selection buttons include Tape 2, Tape 1, Aux, DAD, Phono, and Tuner. A dedicated record output selector is provided alongside a large weighted volume control. The rear panel features gold-plated phono inputs, standard RCA inputsfor tuner, DAD, and aux sources, and dual tape loops. It supports two pairs of speakers with impedance ratings of 6 to 16 ohms for a single pair or 12 ohms minimum for combined operation.
