Beautiful tiger maple, Western Pennsylvania clock made by Daniel Heffley (1813-1887) who worked with his brother Annanias (1816-1876) in Berlin, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. 8-day movement, broken arch with three turned wood urns, turned feet, applied veneer banding below the hood and at base, painted iron dial with seconds and date bits, moon phase dial with engraved hemispheres. Signed in period pencil inside of case is "Ruben Henninger". 94 1/2"H x 19"W x 9 3/4"D Tops of two smaller urns reduced in height. Old refinish.
