Three Vintage Brass Bells

nteresting collection of three vintage Asian brass bells, featuring traditional designs inspired by Indian, Thai, and Chinese decorative metalwork. Each bell has its own distinctive construction, ornamentation, and form, creating an eclectic grouping for collectors of vintage brass bells, temple bells, meditation chimes, Asian metalwork, and decorative brassware. The collection includes a vintage Indian “Elephant Claw” bell, a form also commonly referred to as a claw bell, temple bell, or Sarna bell, resting on its matching resonator base. The bell features an unusual open claw-like construction with an interior clapper, while the exterior and coordinating base are embellished with intricate engraved floral and foliate decoration. It measures approximately 6" x 5". Also included is a vintage Thai temple meditation bell, a style frequently described as a Buddha, Ganesha, or elephant wind chime bell. This hanging brass bell incorporates traditional figural and ornamental detailing with a suspended clapper or wind catcher and measures approximately 7" from tip to tip. Completing the collection is a vintage Chinese brass dragon and turtle desk bell, sometimes referred to as a tabletop gong bell or meditation chime. The sculptural stand combines traditional dragon and turtle imagery with a suspended bell, creating an unusual decorative tabletop piece. It measures approximately 6" tall. Together, these three pieces make a distinctive collection of Indian brass, Thai temple bells, Chinese dragon and turtle décor, elephant claw bells, meditation bells, tabletop chimes, Asian folk art, and vintage brass collectibles.
