Small vintage Navajo pottery bowl by Alice Cling, accompanied by its original Museum of Northern Arizona Navajo Craftsman Exhibition tag. The tag identifies the artist as Alice Cling, the place as Musial’s Navajo Arts, and the article as a “Bowl.” It is dated July 30–August 7, 1983, providing excellent documented provenance for the piece. The bowl has a simple rounded form with a slightly angled opening and a beautiful smoky brown-to-black surface with natural tonal variation characteristic of traditionally fired Navajo pottery. The original exhibition tag lists a period price of $22.80 and accompanies the bowl. Measures approximately 3.25" tall x 2.75" wide. A wonderful small example of Alice Cling Navajo pottery with particularly desirable Museum of Northern Arizona exhibition provenance. See photos for details.
