Great, tight CDV and tintype photo album descended in a local family. Civil War and post war photos including a very nice full length view of a Union private armed with a Springfield rifle and bayonet. Backmark is Rosentoch, Bloomsburg, Columbia County, Pa. Full-length CDV of Union private holding his private purchase hat, a very large 6th Corps badge and his hat brass appears to be 93 on the top line and PV on the bottom line. The middle line is blurred out and could be a wide company letter. Backmark is J.H. Keim, Lebanon, Pa. There are two civilian views of this soldier in the album. The only name that appears in the album is John Sholly and that is on post war CDVs in the album. I pulled a couple of other CDVs and the backmarks were also Keim from Lebanon, Pa. Unfortunately the family does not have any history. Worth further research. 5 3/4"H x 4 1/2"W Very good condition.
