This porcelain figurine from the Hollóháza manufactory depicts a woman dressed in traditional Hungarian folk attire, likely representing regional dress from the Kalocsa or Sárköz areas. The figure wears a black headpiece and a white blouse with puffed sleeves, which are hand-painted with delicate floral motifs in red, yellow, and green. A burnt orange vest with white trim and three horizontal rows of wavy-line detailing is worn over the blouse. The costume is completed with a black apron over a white flared skirt, both featuring hand-painted floral borders at the hem. The face is finished with stylised features, including elongated eyes and red lips. The underside of the base is marked with a green stamped factory mark depicting a stylised evergreen tree, surrounded by the name HOLLOHAZA and HUNGARY, alongside the date 1831 and the number 14. Height approx. 11.7 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The figurine is in excellent condition, with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of professional restoration. The hand-painted decoration is well-preserved and remains vibrant throughout.
