Attributed to Bruce Yoren, this etching presents a panoramic vista of Budapest, Hungary, viewed across the Danube. The composition features the Széchenyi Chain Bridge in the foreground, with the Buda Castle district, including the dome of the Royal Palace and the spires of Matthias Church, positioned on the left bank. The work is executed with dense, expressive linework and significant tonal depth achieved through deep biting and extensive cross-hatching. A clearly defined plate mark is visible at the margins of the printed area. The print is inscribed Etching in pencil to the lower left margin and signed Bruce Yoren in pencil to the lower right. The work is housed in a decorative multi-layered mount and a simple black wooden frame. Condition: The paper displays even, light toning consistent with age. The reverse cardboard backing shows evidence of historical moisture ingress with associated brown staining and minor surface losses. The black frame exhibits light surface wear and minor scuffs. The mount appears to be in good condition.
