A framed needlepoint tapestry depicting a pair of flamenco dancers against a stylised background. The composition centres on a female dancer in a multi-tiered ruffled dress of red and orange hues with a purple bodice, her arms raised in a dance posture. A male figure is shown in black silhouette behind her, also with raised hands. The background is composed of blocks of green and purple colour, with simplified foliage motifs. The work is executed in needlepoint stitch on canvas. The bottom edge of the canvas bears a printed mark reading Selection S de Paris with a central stylised letter S. The tapestry is presented in a decorative gilt-finished frame with a beaded and foliate border. On the reverse, the canvas is attached to a backing board using strips of masking tape. The top edge of the frame features a piece of green tape with the handwritten inscription 20 x 29. Condition: The textile remains in good overall condition, with vibrant colours and no visible pulled threads or holes. The gilt frame displays minor surface scuffs and light wear to the finish. The masking tape on the reverse shows age-related yellowing and is an informal method of mounting.
