Belfor Minuet & Kahla Floral Decorated Porcelain T

One collection of continental porcelain tableware comprising two distinct sets of graduated oval serving platters and associated servers. The first set is manufactured by Belfor, Czechoslovakia, in the Minuet pattern. These pieces feature a white porcelain body with a moulded lattice border, gilt rims, and multi-coloured floral transfer sprays including roses, tulips, and smaller blossoms. The base of the platters is marked with a blue printed crown and shield backstamp for Belfor Fine Bohemian China and the pattern name. Accompanying this group is a ceramic server with a cream glaze decorated with a garden well motif and a gilt-trimmed handle. The second set is manufactured by the Kahla factory in the German Democratic Republic. These graduated oval platters have a plain white body with gilt rims and multi-coloured floral transfer designs featuring pink roses and orange tulips. The base bears a green circular printed mark with a crown and the manufacturer name. Included are matching servers with corresponding floral motifs. Length of largest platters approx. 33 cm. Condition: The collection is in generally good condition with light surface wear and minor rubbing to the gilt rims consistent with age and use. The cream-glazed Belfor server shows significant crazing to the glaze. No visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration are evident across the pieces.
