A large Chinese-style hand-tufted rug featuring a wool pile. The design is composed of a rectangular madder red field enclosed by a cream-coloured main border containing a continuous floral vine motif. Four large, asymmetrical floral sprays extend from the corners into the central field, rendered in shades of moss green, navy blue, and camel. The rug is finished with a short white fringe at two ends and machine-bound edges along the sides. The reverse side features a standard tufted backing. Dimensions: approx. 229 cm x 152 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The rug is in generally good condition, displaying minor surface lint and light wear to the pile and fringe consistent with domestic use. There are no major stains, tears, or structural repairs evident.
