A comprehensive silver-plated flatware service manufactured by the International Silver Company under the 1847 Rogers Bros. brand. The set is in the Eternally Yours pattern, introduced in 1941, which is characterised by a floral design with distinctive pierced openwork at the top of each handle. The service is presented in a fitted wooden canteen featuring a red velvet-lined base and a white fabric-lined lid. The set includes dinner knives with stainless steel blades, dinner forks, salad and dessert forks, soup spoons, a large quantity of teaspoons, and various serving pieces including two large spoons, a meat fork, a ladle, two butter knives, and a pierced cake server. The handles are stamped with 1847 ROGERS BROS., followed by a square IS mark, and the pattern name Eternally Yours in script. The knife blades are marked 1847 ROGERS BROS. STAINLESS. A label inside the lid identifies the set as IS 1847 ROGERS BROS. ORIGINAL ROGERS SILVERPLATE AN INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO. PRODUCT. Canteen width: approx 42 cm Ladle length: approx 24 cm. Condition: The flatware exhibits general surface scratches and minor tarnish consistent with age and use. Heavier tarnish is present on some of the serving pieces. The wooden canteen is structurally sound with minor scuffs to the exterior finish. The interior fabric lining shows light impressions and minor wear from storage but is otherwise in good order.
