A large Turkish machine-made area rug by Alladdin. The rug is constructed from heat-set polypropylene (PPHS) featuring a high-density weave of 1.5 million points per square metre. The design consists of a traditional Persian-style central sixteen-point star medallion in ivory and cream, set against a deep burgundy field. The field is decorated with intricate scrolling foliate motifs, floral sprays, and palmettes. A wide ivory-ground primary border contains repeating floral cartouches, framed by multiple decorative guard stripes in black, burgundy, and cream. The rug features simple bound edges. The reverse bears a manufacturer's label with the brand name Alladdin, a barcode, and technical specifications including 597-001, 1.5 MILLION POINT PPHS, 16 - BRD/RED, and 240X0340. Condition: Good overall condition showing typical signs of light domestic use. There is surface lint and debris present on the pile. No significant stains, tears, or areas of heavy pile loss are apparent.
