Constructed of dark navy blue velvet, this vintage cropped pea coat style jacket features a double-breasted front closure, wide statement collar with an adjustable throat latch buckle, and prominent white contrast stitching throughout. Manufactured by Curly Top ("For Young America") in Japan (RN 39053), this 1970s example includes gold-tone stamped buttons marked "Curly Top New York," a flap front pocket with a small lower accent pocket, underarm ventilation eyelets, and a full interior lining.This piece exhibits minor signs of age and light wear consistent with gentle handling, including light surface linting and soft creasing to the velvet pile. Threading, seams, buckle hardware, and buttons appear secure and intact overall. Dimensionsare: 16 in. shoulder width, 18 in. pit-to-pit, and 17 in. overall length. Best for a Small with a 34 or smaller bust.
