Lot of 3 Vintage 1980s Fabric Shoulder Handbags

This collection consists of three distinct fabric shoulder bags highlighting period textile designs from throughout the 1980s. The first example, produced by Carpetbags of America, is crafted from green wool carpetbag-style fabric with a leather-wrapped handle accent, zippered closures, and a fully lined cotton interior. The second bag, very on trend, features quilted cotton construction adorned with a red and yellow floral print, paisley border accents, an exterior zip pocket, and internal compartments labeled "Made in Taiwan R.O.C." Completing the group is a blue and white batik cotton shoulder bag decorated with a detailed floral and avian motif, featuring a zip top closure, woven top trim, and a fabric shoulder strap. This lot remainsin good vintage condition, displaying light, age-appropriate wear throughout. Typical signs of handling include minor fabric fuzzing to the green wool, light creasing to the quilted cotton, and subtle wear along the strap edges and seams, with all zippers and closures remaining intact and functional. The green wool handbag measures 16 in W x 12 in H with a 10 in strap drop, the red quilted handbag measures 14 in W x 12 in H with an 8 in strap drop, and the blue batik handbag measures 15 in W x 11 in H with a 12 in strap drop.
