Mogul Ltd. Embroidered Cotton Tunic and Dress

Dating to the 1970s, this two-piece vintage ladies' fashion lot features a Mogul Ltd embroidered tunic along with an ethnic batik print day dress. Constructed of off-white woven cotton fabric, the tunic tunic is highlighted by elaborate rust-brown braided cord passementerie trimming the mandarin collar, split neckline, cuffs, and hem, secured with front cloth button-and-loop closures; an interior maker's tag reads "Mogul Ltd. / Made in Pakistan / 100% Cotton". The accompanying knee-length dressis fashioned from a light blue and tan batik-patterned cotton blend featuring a scoop neck, cold-shoulder sleeve cutouts with ribbon shoulder ties, a matching fabric waist belt, and an A-line skirt. Condition is consistent with age and gentle wear.Both garments show light creasing throughout, with minor surface discoloration along the tunic's inner collar and subtle fading to the dress fabric.
