Dating to the 1970s, this pair of vintage two-piece women's skirt sets was manufactured by Hal Ferman. Constructed of smooth knit polyester fabric, the lot includes a solid turquoise blue set styled with a collared V-neck tunic top, fine vertical bodice pleating, and a self-tie waist sash paired with a matching A-line maxi skirt. Accompanying it is an ivory and brown floral print set featuring a standing collar button-up blouse with heavy pleated bodice detailing, contrast printed cuffs and placket, self-tie belt, and a matching floral print A-line skirt. Inner fabric labels attached at the collar on both tops read "Hal Ferman." Condition is consistent with age and light prior wear. Fabric displays minor creasing, light seam softening, a faint spot near the lower skirt hem on the floral set, and minor fraying around inner label edges. Dimensions measure 17 in. to 18 in. armpit-to-armpit (flat), 12 in. to 16 in. waist (flat/elasticized), and 38 in. to 40 in. total skirt length, for both sets. Both sets have a bit of stretch for an extra 1-1.5 inches per measurement. Featuring iconic 1970s silhouettes and easy-care pleated polyester tailoring, this set offers stylish vintage appeal for 70s disco era fashionistas.
