Vintage Italian Mohair & Cheryl Thomas Shawl Lot

Dating to the late 20th century, this collection includes three vintage open-weave mohair and wool shawls. The group features a cream open-net crocheted mohair shawl trimmed with long tassel fringe, retaining two interior labels reading "Hughes & Hatcher / Made in Italy" and "80% Mohair 20% Nylon"; a multicolored bouclé knit scarf incorporating purple, teal, and metallic silver threads labeled "Cheryl Thomas"; and a lightweight off-white mohair wrap styled with open mesh weave bands and fringedends. Exhibits condition consistent with age and delicate knit construction. The off-white open-mesh wrap displays significant structural damage, including a large tear separating the weave near one fringed end, while the Italian cream crochet shawl shows fraying to the care tags. All three items display light pilling and minor loose threads typical of mohair fibers. Featuring soft textures, fine Italian mohair, and delicate metallic accents, this assortment offers strong display and restoration appeal for vintage accessory collectors.
