Dating to the late 1960s or 1970s, this men's custom-tailored sport coat jacket appears to be constructed of a woven wool or wool-blend fabric in a traditional Royal Stewart tartan plaid pattern. The single-breasted blazer is styled with wide notch lapels, a single metal crested button front closure, three matching decorative cuff buttons, a left chest slip pocket, dual lower flap pockets, and a single back vent. The garment is lined in a bright red synthetic satin fabric; no maker or care labels remain present due to neck liner damage. Condition is fair, exhibiting significant tearing, fraying, and loss to the interior satin lining around the inner collar, armholes, and upper back. The outer wool shell shows light surface wear, small spots on the lapel, and scattered faint marks, though colors remain vibrant. Shoulder-to-shoulder measures 17", pit-to-pit measures 21", overall length from back collar to hem is 30", and sleeve length is 24.5". Offering classic Ivy League or prep revival styling, this blazer presents an eye-catching piece for vintage fashion collections, theatrical wardrobes, or tailored restoration.
